What this site collects, what it stores in your browser, and where it is incomplete — described as it actually is.
Privacy notice details
This notice was written by the team building the site, from what the site actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it has not been checked against the Sultanate of Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law or against any other statute. It must be reviewed and, where necessary, replaced before this site goes live.
It is published in this state deliberately. An accurate description of what the site does is more use to a reader — and to the lawyer who reviews it — than boilerplate copied from another company’s website.
Who we are
Alwalaa Real Estate LLC, Mazoun Street, Al Mawalih South, Seeb, Muscat, P.C. 135, Sultanate of Oman, holds any personal data collected through this site. Contact info@alwalaaoman.com or +968 7155 5067 about anything on this page.
What this site collects, exactly
There is one way this site collects personal data: the enquiry forms. They appear on the contact page, on each property page, on the residency and careers pages, on the about page, and in the call-back dialog that can open when you are about to leave. Every one of them collects the same fields:
- Your name and your phone number — required, because they are what a person needs in order to call you back.
- Your email address — optional.
- What you are enquiring about, and anything you type into the message box — optional.
- Your agreement to be contacted, and the exact wording you agreed to, recorded with the time.
Sent alongside those, automatically: which page you submitted from, which control you used, the property or community you were looking at, the campaign parameters (utm_source and the rest) in the link you first arrived on, the website that referred you if there was one, and the time of submission.
The forms also carry a hidden field that a person never sees, and a check on how quickly the form was completed. Both exist to reject automated submissions. Neither records anything about you.
What we do with it
We use it to answer your enquiry. We do not sell it. We do not pass it to a developer without asking you first. We do not add you to a mailing list from a form submission.
Where it goes
An enquiry is sent to this website’s own dashboard, on this same address, and written to a database Alwalaa controls. Staff read it there. It is not sent to any third party.
No customer-relationship system is connected. The site is built so one can be — the routes for several are written and switched off — and this notice must be updated to name the system, and the country it stores data in, at the moment one is connected.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising and no analytics cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage, which is not sent to any server and which you can clear at any time from your browser settings. These are the only keys it writes:

Analytics
This site runs no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel and no session recording of any kind. The site is built so that analytics can be switched on from the dashboard, and it will not load anything until somebody does; if that happens, this section changes by itself to name the product and say what it collects, and this notice must then be reviewed before the change goes live.
Third parties your browser contacts
Loading a page here makes requests to these hosts. Each one can see your IP address and the usual request headers, and each has its own privacy policy that we do not control:

The typefaces and every script are served from this site’s own address, so no request is made to Google Fonts or to any content-delivery network. Following a link to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or LinkedIn takes you to that company, under its terms and not ours.
How long we keep it
Not yet decided. A retention period has to be set before launch and stated here.
Your rights
Write to info@alwalaaoman.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. The rights you have under Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law, and the response times attached to them, must be set out here by a lawyer before launch.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
This notice carries no version or date because it has not been adopted yet. Both are required before launch. The terms of use and the disclaimer are in the same position.
